Prof. Dr. Apr. J.F. VAN BOCXLAER
Prof. Van Bocxlaer graduated as pharmacist in 1986 and received his Ph.D. in pharmacy in 1992 from the Ghent University. After spending one year at the Janssen Research Foundation, he was a post-doctoral at the Laboratory of Toxicology (RUG) for 3 years. Since 1997 he lectures biochemistry and toxicology related courses at the Ghent University, Faculty of pharmacy and Faculty of Law. In his research, clinical bioanalysis (quantitative analysis of drugs, proteins, xenobiotics, biomarkers), pharmacokinetics, analytical biochemistry (metabo(n)(l)omics), and bioanalytical mass spectrometry are the main study objects.
